Hello Philadelphia,

We just launched a new 24 hour webcast, G-town Radio (the Sound from Germantown). We're at http://gtownradio.com. The goal is to become a resource for local content, community news and great music.

All programming is run by an automated playlist for right now. The goal is to get live programmers on the air in the fall. In the meantime the mix of music is pretty diverse (exponentially better than anything else coming out of Philly). Give a listen, check out the site and let me know what you think.

We are brand new so the new music, shows and site features will be coming quickly. Your input is important so don't be shy about things you would like to hear.

Also, don't forget to check out the "Now Playing" page on the site. It
lists the current song and five previous tracks played (very helpful).

Tonight's show, Getting Ahead of Ourselves, is a really fun one. Since the first post in this thread G-town Radio has grown quite a bit. We are still on 24/7 but now from a real studio in the Maplewood Mall. We air approximately 20 live shows a week and plan on adding more in early summer.

We are also doing some live broadcasts from local events like Mt. Airy Day last week.
