I have been going back and forth between Ac/DC = High Voltage, The Black Crowes - Amoirica, Bob Seeger - Greatest Hits, John Lee Hooker - Blues Before Sunrise and Muddy Waters - The Real Folk Blues.

Thumbs up Doves

The best music out right now is the Doves Some Cities cd. Black and White Town is a great song. Of course you have to like Brit Pop. If this cd was a record I would have worn it out already, that's three great releases from this band.

Greetings from the South of France. I've been away since the end of June and won't be coming back until the end of August.

What a great profession teaching is.

Anyway, to respond to the thread:

I've been listening to two albums incessantly:

Funeral by the Arcade Fire
Silent Alarm by Bloc Party

Also have with me everything from Interpol to Mission of Burma but I keep coming back to the two albums above.

Let's see, what do I have here...

-Al Green, Everything's OK--not as good as his old stuff, but oh well, thought I'd try it.
-Beck, Odelay--such a classic. I have to get his new one, though.
-Mando Diao, Bring 'Em In--I need their newest release.
-Parliament, The Very Best Of
-Robert Cray, Midnight Stroll--but my fave is A Shame & A Sin. Why isn't it here?
-Bebel Gilberto, self-titled--I hear "Aganjú" everywhere now, great song. My cat cuddles by my desk speakers when I play this.
-Pink, Missundaztood--cat wakes up and leaves.
-Alicia Keys, The Diary of Alicia Keys
-Brothers Johnson, The Best Of
-Rolling Stones, Exile on Main St.--Best RS album ever!
