Cool Movie being filmed at 12th and Locust

Does anyone know what is being filmed around 12th and Locust? They were painting a bus yesterday and there are graphics painted all over the street and 12th Street Gym. Today, Locust street has been shut down for filming. It looks pretty interesting.

I was told by the 12th Street Gym staff that it is some AIDS benefit commercial. I really don't know anymore details but it looks really cool. I love all the paint all over the sidewalk. Supposidly it will wash off in 2 weeks.

There's a Nike commercial that was running a few months back that filmed by the 12 St. Gym and on the narrow wood block streets behind it (Camac St.). It features people running around in the rain, if I recall correctly.

Yes you are correct. Funny they are using the exact same area to film this new commercial.

I remember when they were filming that. They brought this huge rain machine contraption in to create fake rain. Was pretty cool.

A commercial makes sense. We walked by the trailers and food tables and only saw a couple of Pringles tins, so I figured it wasn't anything with too high of a budget
