Question Soon moving to "The Metropolitan" - looking for reviews/opinions

After much paperwork, miscomunications, faxes, emails and other such headaches (the process of securing an apartment has lasted about 2 months) I will soon be moving to a studio apt at the Metropolitan apartments (117 N. 15th St). I was wondering if anyone could tell me if all that was worth the bother!

( It's a rental-I think it used to be the WMCA?)-an older building in a commercial area that was rehabbed maybe 10 years ago.
Is it too late to back out? I think you could do a lot better for the money but it also is not the worst place in town. I don't understand how you folks from out of town can rent a place in a strange city site unseen. Did you ever hear of Oakwood temporary housing while you are house hunting?

The Metropolitan was indeed part of the YMCA around the corner on Arch St and was renovated into apartments in the 1980s by Historic Landmarks for Living. I understood that it was changing to condos a very long time ago, but I don't know for certain whether they went through with that. It's a fabulous Art Deco building on the exterior.

and here's the nomination form for the National register of Historic Places:
