many years ago his place used to be near to havertown on haverford road near City Line. And his cooking was very much appreciated by Laban (for what its worth) and also Rick Nichols I believe. He picked up and moved into town and from what I can tell , seems to be under all radars. I think that I heard a rumor that Billy Wong (of Mustard Greens and other old city and even NoLibs ventures) fame was involved. But i could be making that up. All this to say - go and report back!

Default Ok

to be honest, nearly every place I go to in Chinatown is ok, just ok. I did enjoy Lakeside but I don't find any of the other places good enough for repeat visits. I promise to keep trying though.

ive been a couple times, and the first time was alright
the second time there were cricket legs in my soup which skeeved me out...
i told the lady and she insisted it was bean sprouts...

bean sprouts arent that small, and they don't have jagged edges

You're getting this review 3rd hand, but my girlfriend's work place has events there and this is what she told me:
  • Nice ambiance
  • Traditional Vietnamese dishes
  • Over priced if comparing food quality to "hole in the wall" Vietnamese eateries (i.e. the places on Washington)
