Default Some help for a Philadelphia weekend ...

Hello, it's my first trip to Philly and will be in the city for 3 days ... just wanted to ask a few question as i'm finding it tough to get the info i want.

1. Where's the best place to go clothes chopping .. for more stylish clothing, like diesel jeans, lacsote, etc ... i know alot of the stuff i like they have at the King of Prussia mall, which i won't have a drive to, so i was going to stick to the city ... where's the best place to shop .. walnut st ? is there a bloomingdales centre city ?

2. Where are the best lounges/niteclubs .. and could you recommend some to me.

I appreciate all your help and look forward to my weekend in Philadelphia.

Thanks !!

There is a Diesel and a Lacoste within proximity of each other on Walnut St. Other than that, what are you looking for?

Anything of that type .. other brands that come to mind are GStar, Nudie Jeans, Lindeberg, Cheap Monday .. etc .. any recommendations for partying would be great as well ... nice trendy lounges or nice clubs ... i'm a big fan of brit rock, that would be nice to hear in a club or bar. Or the standard house .. whatever, just looking for ideas. Appreciate ur help !!

I'm sorry, the rest of my message got cut off, but it's still the same. I think Pat's or Geno's is overrated...but if you want the experience, then definitely go for it. Sometimes that is more important anyway.

Where are you visiting from? The things you're asking about can be found here, but they're not really Philly's strength. You're not going to find any really good deals on clothing, unless you're coming from a smaller town and can't get that kind of clothing where you're from.

If you are here primarily to shop the local transit agency has bus routes from downtown out to King of Prussia mall......Rt 124 and 125. Takes about an hour one way.

For what is available downtown google "rittenhouse row"
I'll leave the nightlife to someone more expert since it is scattered throughout several neighborhoods.

Default designer jeans and trendy lounges?

Your best bet is either the greater northeast or south jersey. Plenty of both in either location.
