Last night I took my girls (dogs) so I guess I should restate...

Last night I took my bitches to the square for a walk and, as I happen to ever year, ran into the Freinds of Rittenhouse ball...or whatever its called.

We ended up on a bench watching the well heeled pass by. It was surreal and I got the impression a lot of the women had not walked that far in a long time.

On our bench were also two older ladies and I felt like Joan rivers. We would tell the good dress choices how wonderful they looked and roll our eyes at the others.

it was great fun - and Georges uncorked some champange wiith his sword - literally.

anyone else in the square at that time... the jazz was great and such a beautiful night the best time I've had there in a while.

discuss.....

whew - i'm tired so I will clean up this post tomorrow... just wanted to post this thread before I forgot...

I guess by the number of hits on this interesting entry you want to see a red carpet philly style event. I covered one last night on my blog. Ettore's 10th Anniversary Party at the Ritz. It was fun, crowded, and when they said the guests could wear jeans, I didn't know they meant designer dressy jeans. I am so not cool.

um... yeah - they must be talking about jeans from - what's that guy who runs head area and also has a retail shop???

Don't think jeans from "tarjhay" ( target ) would be appropro
