I'm telling you I was there and two people were taken away. Both dead. One first. then another found in the back seat of a white car about 10 feet away on the the side of the fence. after the crowds and media disbursed. Maybe he died of something else but i'd doubt it. Don't believe everything you hear. I was there. Its hard to be confused about that.

OK finally got through to the right person.

this was what I saw - one person did die. The other in the car was passed out drunk and didn't die. They had to break into the car to get him out. He was lucky. That's why the siren didn't go off. The second guy did not die. He just looked dead from high up.

The bar is the Level Room and its a nusence club with lots of vandalism and shootings, drag racing. They are starting procedures to shut the place down.

After this I agree - I don't begrudge anyone having a good time but this is a bit ridiculous.

Bullets indeed can travel a mile but behind the brick so people are OK - just not in the window....

I will ask the condo board to install video cameras in the parking lot.

And how do you start a movement in the community to shut something down?

What is my neighborhood association.

This place has got to go.

It's not a nusence bar, face it its a club that plays hip-hop and you know what that brings out in the crowd.

Hip hop + hip hop crowd( if you know what I mean) = shootings

And as for you building putting up video camera's , do you think this will stop these angel babies from killing one another

With this incident this place is definetly done- they need to stick all these hood, garbage clubs back on Delaware Ave or a location better suited to the clientele they attract. With the Murano opening up soon, I have a feeling that block will transform rather quickly- not that is dangerous or anything, but I mean retail/restaurants that are worth going to.

the officer I spoke to said "its a nusence" bar and they were starting the process of shutting it down.

Never knew that was a term before.

So what is 21st's neighboorhood association, or where do I start?

and....

the officer also asked if the building would put up cameras so they can see what is going on.

It would just be easier for the city to put a fence around North Philly and play hip hop all night and let them shoot each other in their own neighborhoods. It must be a thriving business for a funeral director in those "hoods"
