They were charged. Then the judge let them go saying that there wasn't enough evidence against them. The other people that witnessed the shooting positively IDed them and they found the gun that was involved with teh 13 yr olds finger prints on it. UN REAL

$80k bail. He sat in jail for a year b/c his family couldn't get the 10% up. After 3 hearings (over that year) he was finally let out on reduced bail. It was his 1st offense too.

Your buddy got a raw deal. The bail set for these kids is in line with what other people facing similar charges in Philadelphia County have received. Should the judge have imposed higher bail because the story got newspaper coverage?
