I think fast food restaurant chains taste gross... and look gross... and I think they often purposely put them in poor neighborhoods to take advantage of the people who live there, making them unhealthy and fat... I think everyone should have access to local fruits and vegetables, not just KFC and McDonalds... That's not something that is silly to be anti-corporate about... I'd like to see them all shut down and replaced with vegetable stands (which I understand is a pipe dream, but it doesn't hurt to dream)... And in response to your comment about local beer, Yards really sucks, too... The brewmaster must have woken up one day and said to himself "Let's make all of our beer really bitter and hoppy... People will love that"... Philly Brewing Company was smart to split, and I really prefer their beers... but it is not usually my preference in general... AND AGAIN, that's just my opinion that I chose to express... I don't believe in wearing political pins... because I don't believe in discussing politics with strangers, and I'd rather them never ask me about my political views... I can't afford WholeFoods, unfortunately... I shop at the Dollar General and the Pathmark out on Grays Ferry Avenue because it's cheap (and yes, these places cater to the poor, as well, but at least they provide the same goods they'd get elsewhere at a cheaper price)... Yep, I shop with black people (::gasp:: Bet that was a shocker for you). I do try to get local organic vegetables when I can, but what's wrong with that? It's just better for your body and for the environment... You shouldn't grill someone for trying to be healthy and live a sustainable life... I don't drive a Prius... Can't afford one of those either (But if I could, I think it would be a really good thing... You don't think it's good to decrease emissions and save fuel?)... I have a Corolla that works just fine, and I am grateful to have it... but basically, it only makes trips to the Pathmark because I can't afford the gas in it anyway... If I need to get to work or anywhere else around town, I ride a bicycle... and all of the cars try to drive me off the road or car-door me because they do not respect my effort to save money, fuel, and the environment... I have 2 TVs with DirecTV and DVR, one of the few luxuries at home that I really afford myself... I LOVE HBO, and I can't get enough of it... I think there is nothing wrong with watching some TV... I have the cheapest Sony computer that they had on sale at Christmas time... I do think Apple makes quality products, especially for creative projects, but again, can't afford them and don't think they're worth it for someone like myself who uses my home computer only for checking e-mail... I'm a really practical person that just tries my best to be healthy, respect others, and preserve nature... If I do get out of the city, I spend my time camping in the woods without toilets, electricity, or running water because I truly do love this Earth, and I think that's the best way to learn respect for it... You know nothing about my life... You were dead wrong about all of your assumptions... Stuffwhitepeoplelike is just a funny website... Using it as a way to criticize me instead of just accepting it for what it is (a funny website) is just as insensitive as making a generalization about any other race or gender... Assuming that I fit some kind of stereotype when you have never met me is pretty racist if you ask me...

Forgot to mention that I HATE bumper stickers... I think they are obnoxious and make a nice, expensive car look like a piece of junk. So if I ever had a Prius, I would never ruin it by putting an ugly advertisement on it.

I flipped a coin and dared to eat a tomato slice on my squagel at cosi yesterday. No death. It wasn't too much of a risk, though-they had signs everywhere saying that they get their tomatoes from farmers unaffected by the scare.
