Yup, you're right. We used to sit outside at Mace's and watch them scurry all around the building...can't say for sure if they made it inside. Once can only assume.

I've never had a problem with that Subway. I think the one at Lombard and Broad is gross though.

The amount of yuppie douchbaggedness on this forum is reaching epic levels lately. "I feel so bad for people who eat at Subway. You're all like, sooooooo low brow, and stuff. Whatev. I bet their hoagies aren't even organic. I'll leave the cheap corporate food for all you peasants."

Christian Lander would have a field day with this forum. God I can't wait til that book comes out.

EDITED: I decided what I originally wrote was too mean. You all should be proud of me. I have a conscience after all.

LOL I can imagine the whole board going "Oh shite, wait til rpost reads this thread. "

I'm so predictable it's ridiculous . I could've just rolled my eyes and kept my mouth (keyboard?) shut, but you know me. I do that every day in real life successfully fooling people into thinking I'm a nice guy, so I can't let it go on here heh heh.

Look, for every person that goes to Subway, that's one less person standing in line at Sarcone's. And that is good news for me.

As long as no one's making me eat Subway, I don't care what any of y'all are eating.

Very true Arlee. . . but I still feel sorry for them.

And to Rpost -- I'm not coming down on cheap or fast food, or corporate food or whatever. Your comment that only an elitist would put down Subway is laughable. I feel sorry for these people becaue they haven't figured out that you can eat much better (for the same price or less) at countless lunch carts, chain restaurants and mom/pops all over the city.

Lay off the socioeconomic criticism and go have a Philly steak and cheese at Quizno's.

oh yes, eating a philly steak and cheez at quizno's is "eating much better". I'll stick to my veg. subway hoagie on whole wheat. You can keep Quizno's and a cardiologist in business.
