This is what my wife & I are doing at Bistro St. Tropez. I presume that little asterisk refers to a disclaimer that alcohol is not included in the $30.

This is currently Restaraunt Week in DC. We've got 3 meals lined up tonite, Sat and Sunday. We'll probably spend in 3 meals what we'd spend in one meal considering the pricey (and highly rated) places we're going to treat ourselves to.
I'd highly recommend reserving early, and if you can, do it through www.opentable.com to get some bonus points!! In fact, opentable has a link to the participating establishments in Philly. Look for the list on the right:

Bon Appetite.

I'm less and less excited about restaraunt week. Not great unless your a voracious carnavore. I eat out regularly at most of the places on the Philadelphia list and on just food alone I rarely rack up much more than 30 bucks. We eat out a lot so we don't gorge on apps or desserts.

1 APP 10
2 Entrees 40-60 closer to 40 though....no red or white meat....
1 Dessert 10

So that comes out to about er 60 bucks and I have full choice of the regular menu.

Now if Moshulu or Buddakan or other more expensive restaraunts were on the list. I'd be there! Or if they threw in that bottle of wine that's gonna add an arm and a leg. Maybe while everyone is going to this I'll just go to Djangos. Hrmmm.

It's probably not aimed at you, Skroah.

I suspect it's really a marketing effort to get all those hated suburbanites in here and get their money. Yeah.

It's a shame that a prix fix lunch is not an option in Philly. We're doing one on Sunday for 20 bucks. That might have appealed to more potential customers.

You know what your right. It isn't really for city residents that eat out a lot and try to do it economically already. Good I don't feel so bad ignoring it.

Alright burbavores get down here and pay those inflated prices and subsidize our cheap meals for the rest of the year!
