It must be a new quarter if this thread has reared it's ugly head again.

The train to ardmore is only 10 minutes.

The cab ride to the mac store at 22nd and walnut varies upon your location.

Either way, problem solved.

just my two cents here, but i find the folks at Springboard Media to be WAY MORE knowledgeable and Competent than the 'geniuses' at any of the jersey or new york city apple stores.

and they sell non-apple accessories and software, to boot.

Funny, I found it to be the exact opposite , especially in the NYC stores.

I went to the Ardmore Apple store for this first time last weekend. Physically, it wasn't very impressive. It's sort of tucked away like an afterthought, it felt like. But it was cool to play with the different gadgets set up. I was there to kill some time while doing something else, but I played with the stuff they had out for at least half an hour.

I must admit - although I strongly believe apple should be open in philadelphia - I bought a computer from springboard last week when my old computer died.

I only had to walk a few blocks to get there, they were overly helpful, and I was able to get him to give me a deal on the speakers!

It really was a nice experience...
