They will be.
Newsflash from my daughter, apparently the young lady has had thieving ways during her college days as well. Too bad, she's screwed up her young life for an easy out. Idiot. Or as my daughter called her...Mental.

Well tell your sister to run a credit check on herself. It appears these two 'sweethearts' had the keys to nearly every unit, and numerous credit card applications opened in many names.

I love this story.
These two couldn't be more petty, sinister, and evil. I rarely wish ill on people related to prison, but I hope they get something stiff. I heard that the girl made a hair dresser apply extensions over the course of a huge amount of time, and then paid her with a fake check. Then she texted her a life threatening message! I was prompted by a desire to beat both of their tiny punk asses. Based on some possible demographic info about the girl, I predict a book then movie deal instead of punishment though. We shall see, or not see, as the case may be. Meanwhile, how did they get a key to some many apartments in their building? It sounds like someone else may have been involved. Saying: Don't poop where you sleep. They kept all of their evidence right at their base, but had they kept it at another cheaply maintained location under a different name they wouldn't be facing a grab bag full of charges. Greed creates mental problems. |

Either the locks are easily compromised with a master key... or they broke into the office and got them and made copies. And they also had mail keys for EVERY tenant in the building. I scan and shred my mail... so even with that much security that I do, I wouldn't be protected. According to the DN, they also installed spyware on tenant's computers?! (I'm guessing the guy did that. It could have been her though, she's a Drexel student) And the gig was up when the girl bounced a check for hair extensions that cost HOW MUCH? Unreal! On life at the Belgravia itself... I saw the insides of that building while on a whimsical apartment-shopping expedition. At the prices rents are there? Wasn't impressed. You can find nicer amenities in a rowhome. Belgravia also has views of NOTHING on Chestnut, and at night the area is mostly dead save for Drinker's and the 24-hour CVS. I got more where I live, a view of something (ok, the top of Jefferson's buildings mostly and a tiny bit of the Walt Whitman), but at least I got all the bars right by me... both a blessing and a curse. ![]() And rent is 1/3 what you'll get at 18th and Chestnut.

This is really scary, both in terms of how easily they were able to take advantage of neighbors and in terms of what kids with great educations and bright futures think is "okay" to do to get ahead financially.
