Loved Minar and glad to hear it may be back soon. I heard so much about Tiffin and ordered from them a couple of weeks ago. Overall, I thought the food was pretty good, but was sooo disappointed by the samosa. They also arrived with no condiments I think I may have to go back to New Delhi

No, it has not opened yet. I looked in he building the other day and it looked like they still had a fair amount of work to do.

A few weeks ago I saw this post on foobooz. . .

http://www.foobooz.com/2007/10/minar-palace-to-reopen/

There is a post there from someone claiming to be the manager saying that they will be open no later than March

hey that's awesome. so, within 2-3 weeks we will finally have minar back? hopefully they won't jack up the prices. that was the best part about minar; $5 saag paneer to go, very hot and fast.

No way. This building? Don't expect $5 saag paneer anymore. Their prices are going to be double of what they were.

That's the Philadelphia Club - it's been there since 1850, and I don't expect it's moving any time soon.

That's 1301, 1304 would be across the street (even #s on the south side of street.)
