armani exchange has put up their "coming soon" window posters up. it also says "Holiday 2007".

Kenneth Cole has put up a permanant wall, which, I assume, means Lacoste will be coming soon enough.

Diane Beloff (formerly Toby Lerner) is flying a banner in front of her new store front. Its called "Elle Belle by Diane Beloff" It'll be next door to Twenty Manning.

Anyone here notice yet that this has taken over the Macy's thread as the most active discussion on Phillyblog?

With sfjoeynphilly's post immediately upthread from this one, we have crossed the 1,100-response threshold.

Edited to add: Oops -- make that second most active. That interminable neener-neener-fest on the ailing (Is Not! Is Too! Is Not! You're a Realtor Shill! Am Not! Are Too! Am Not!...) housing market is the most active, with just over 10 more responses needed to reach 1,500.

....which means that Philly people are very concerned about their shopping choices.

Anyone have any news on the former Optique space? That's the last unspoken for vacancy on Walnut right?

Rosenbluth's Travel at 15th and Walnut has moved to Cherry Hill, so that spot is now vacant.

Discount, like a TJMaxx, and others of that ilk; I think that's the one at 8th & Market.

Default henry davidsen...

...feel like dropping a couple g's? Well, gents this is your place. I had some time to kill between meetings at the Rittenhouse today and checked out this place at 17th & Spruce (above some coffee shop). The clothes and the decor were out of this world. I'm a devoted GQ reader and this stuff was front cover worthy...nice option to have!

(I did not buy anything, but the salesmen were very very kind about it...I may make an appointment if i need a new suit or something. )

Anyone ever been?

Wow, thats quite surprising and not good! Rosenbluth's was long a staple in center city, I personally have taken a couple of their package trips and loved them.

It's not really that surprising, TA's have certainly taken a big hit w/ the growth of the internet, and w/ the rise of e-ticketing (and websites) your physical location isn't as important as it once was.

Were you planning on using their services in the future...a nice, long trip perhaps....really, really long...away from the internet ???
