Default Best Chicken Wings in Philly?

I'm throwing a New Years Eve party and I wanna get some really good chicken wings. Any suggestions who has the best? Preferably in Center City?

I don't know if they have these to go, but Moriarty's has some pretty damn good wings. They come as the whole wing attached, including that little tip that doesn't really have any meat on it, so it's a little more work and requires using both hands.

Nodding head has great wings as well. Not to mention the great beer.

Cheers!

Moriarty's wings are also BIG. They're almost the size of turkey wings, buth they really are chicken. You get a lot of meat for your money and they're DELICIOUS. If you like them a little crispy, ask them to double cook them. They'll be happy to oblige.

I'll second Moriarty's for wings. They will make them as spicy as you can stand them! Can't go wrong.

Pheobes on south street has good wind sauce which you can buy separately

thier wings are a little on the small size and I would not rate them as some of the best.

however I wanted to let everybody know that their wing bbq sauce is REALLY REALLY good and can be bought separat.

I realize this is probably not tremendousy helpfullsince you wont be barbequing on christmas day. but for future reference for do it yourselfers....

Moriarty's are certainly excellent but you have to try the dry rub wings at Devil's Alley. They're certainly a little known bit of deliciousness on the 1900 block of Chestnut Street.

Default fairmount pizza

I recommend wings from Fairmount pizza (20th and Fairmount), they not only have really good wings...they also have buffalo chicken pizza.

Famous Dave's wings are deee-licious. Go for the hot bbq ones -very yummy! It's a hike down to Delaware and Snyder(?) but well worth the trip!

Surprised to see so many votes for Moriarty's. Had wings there once a few years ago and they were nothing special....
