and also take guns out of the hands of legal owners. I personally wouldn't own a gun, but its not my decision on who should purchase one legally.

It is another gun violence episode and because it was done in public means we were very lucky.

I was going to post this in a new thread but it belongs here I guess - besides. I need to post it but ... anyway.

Yesterday in my building during rush hour in the morning a gentleman shot himself in the lobby of my building. Don't know if he had a permit or not. He was a weird guy and a bit unnerving. Now I know why. He walked people's dogs and was a character but to our knowledge had never been violent.

We were lucky he didn't take anyone else out before he went in this very public way.

I keep meaning to take Krav Maga but money has been an issue. Maybe i will get myself some lessons for christmas. Since 9/11 I have considered getting a gun. but have thought better against it as it could easily be used on me.

I feel very violated yet again. The world is not safe but we can't always live in fear. Or this will turn into the wild west. and its not at all funny.
