I have been to Mahogany numerous times and have never had any problems with the bill. I am a huge fan of the establishment and I am friendly with many of the staff. I find it hard to believe that this was done intentionally.

Maybe you should have brought the issue to the attention of management before publicly bashing the place.
It doesn't sound like anyone is bashing the place, and the poster already mentioned bringing it to the attention of whoever is responsible for refunding money there.

Did you at least get a "happy ending"?
Reminds me of this story:

McCormick and his firm have claimed that only about $20,000 of the charges are legitimate.
Call me naive, but I just can't see how anyone could spend $20,00 at a strip club (unless maybe the bill was for 20 people - and even then its a ridiculous amount of money for a frickin' lap dance)

So... do you work there, or own it?
It's hard to believe you registered and posted for the first time without having a financial interest in the place.

And now I'm even LESS inclined to go there. Good work.

Ok, I'll chime in and NOT a first time poster or owner....I know Tom, the owner and manager very well. I have known him for years and do buisness with him. I do not believe he would ever condone this kind of behavior from any of his staff. After all, it is stealing and illegal.
Have I heard of this happening before at other places....sure. Some servers do take the chance to try to rip people off this way. Most are eventually caught and fired.
Prove your case and move on.....this happens a lot believe me.

I checked my bank statement and it turns out that the discrepancy between my bill and bank statement was due to the situation you described above. I guess that i'm paranoid after I caught them a few months ago.

I find it hard to believe that it was a mistake. I was charged $40 over three visits. I should have pursued further action when it first happend but I got busy with other things and forgot about it.

In any case, I never told anyone to stop going there nor did I bash the establishment. I simply said to keep your receipts...which is a good rule of thumb in general.
