All of my co-workers who watch soccer on a regular basis go to Tir-Na-Nog at 16th and the Parkway (in The Phoenix)

Whenever my husband and I are in Philly we watch matches at The Dark Horse Pub on 2nd Street - good food/drink and usually a good atmosphere as well.

If you want to watch it with Portuguese ex-pats, go to Tio Pepe at Castor Ave & Fanshawe St. in NE Philly. There is a restaurant on the second floor, but the first floor is a bar that seems to be dedicated to Portuguese soccer.

Hmmmmm, I bet there's some cutie pies in that place.

God Bless Portugese soccer players. That one plays for Chelsea I think. I know he's a showboat, but cute.

That Rooney is going to look pastyer than ever now.

Not sure what you mean by "fake" Irish, but Fado was founded in Atlanta by Irish ex-pats--they still own all the pubs. Not sure about the Philly location, but in Atlanta, over half the wait staff are English/Irish and they have a work program where Irish students who are coming to the States can work at the pub.

They take their Irish pretty seriously and the new staff is required to learn a little Gaelic as well as a bunch of Irish history. Most of the furniture and knick-knacks (again--at least in Atlanta) were brought over from Ireland.

My wife worked there after college...
