I hate the packs of motorcycles that fly down the Schuylkill expressway at twice the speed of the rest of traffic and weave in and out between cars. If one person changed lanes at the wrong time there would be some splat cyclist.

I love loud pipes, but I dont rev them every 3 seconds. My last bike was as loud as a Harley with pipes, but when ridden normal it really didnt cause that much racket.

I'll never forget the time I had a dope on a chromed out late model Harley revving next to me at a light, then as the light turned green he stalled it from revving like a dumbass. Priceless.

Most Harley riders really bug me. I rarely if never get the wave from them....they only wave to Harley brothers. I ride(rode) a standard Italian bike, in all black gear. If I was riding a slammed/chromed pink Busa with no helmet or shirt Id see why they would hold the wave...

.
There probably all H.O.G. members too. They wear leather to events when its 90 degree's out. I just laugh. They dont even know they're morons.

I like a chopped bike, it's been my preferrence since I was a kid. I chopped a KZ1000 and It was not only the "bike I wish I had never sold", it was a real head turner. I made most of the parts my self, other than the tank ,front end and wheels. The reaction I used to get at events was also priceless. Maybe this photobucket will work. I love showing it off. It truly was my favorite bike of all time. It handled like a dream and I did 1000 trip with virtually no discomfort.

I just don't like wearing a full face. A big part of my enjoyment of riding is the wind in my face. I'd really rather ride helmet free, but it's not worth it, IMO. It's all about personal risk tolerance. Or as the sticker on my helmet says "My Helmet My Choice".

Why am I a moron for wearing my protective gear when it's hot? Personally, I think the people who dress for the weather instead of for safety are the morons. A good leather jacket, properly vented, will actually keep you cool in the sun.

---Nice bike...

Thanksman.I'm running a stripped down ,rebuilt 78 ironhead now and I'm in the process of hardtailing it{there not as uncomfortable as people think}. If it isn't at least close to handling/comfort that my KZ was, I'm gettting another KZ and chopping it and selling this one.
I wrench alot so dependability isn't as much a problem with me having an older harley but the convenience/dependablity of a jap bike is unreal.
That bike is like missing an old girlfriend. I never got over Her.

Ahh.... summer!
Personally, I'd be dreading the stench of the streets and subways a thousand times more. It was already kicking at only 70 degrees.

Most of you all are now speaking a motorcycle language I don't understand. Please drive safely. I don't want to see any of you in the trauma bay. Although I wouldn't really know if the people they bring in are you or why you would be in Trenton...

ATVs are no better...they're loud and dangerous too...
