Just wanted to let everyone know about a vintage clothing store that just opened up at 36th n Lancaster in Powelton Village. It is in the Lancaster Mews complex which is the row of shoppes that is home to restaurants such as Zocalo (mexican) and Lemon grass (Thai). I live in Lancaster Mews and checked out the store the other day. He has some really cool stuff in there like t-shirts, lacoste polos, and handmade vinatage bags for the ladies, and accessories. He just opened, if your in the area, I'd highly suggest checking it out. And the best part of all is its a REAL vintage store; the prices are REALLY cheap. T-shirts were like 3-4 bux and the Lacoste polos were like 8. This isn't the "hip," "wanna-be" vintage shops like you find on south street with ridiculous prices, this is the real deal. I'd suggest checking it out if your into that kinda stuff. I just discovered this jewel and wanted to let everyone else know. Who knows, this guy may get popular and jack up his prices (hopefully not), so you might wanna take advantage of it now. Its right next door to the Lemon Grass restaurant on the corner and i think the name of the store is simply titled "Vintage."
