Funny. Friend of mine painted his business lime green to piss off the ahole neighbor!

Zoning is getting ridiculous. My parents are trying to put up a 6 foot fence in the back yard on their +/-acre plot. Rules in TE say it has to be under 4 foot 60 feet from the center of the road since they have two front yards since it is a double lot. (Most lots in TE are barely 60 feet wide to begin with!) It has been the backyard since the mid 70's but now they have to go to a slew of meetings wasting time and spend a good amount of money to get a variance. Shoulda just built the damn 6 foot fence and not gotten a permit!

A for-sale sign went up on a lawn 3 houses down from me.

I called my LL and told him who was leaving; and see if he wants to pick up that house before some outside investor gets it and rents to nameless characters.

When the Chinese investors eventually find out about this house and come down from NYC to look at it, I am going to be super-racist at them when they appear. I have good acting skills. The LL is gonna play along.

I think this is hilarious! Aren't they trying to improve a run-down property by doing something better that won't ruin the neighborhood? What's the problem? It's not like they want to put an apartment building there. Good for them!
