Default Pulte townhomes - Longford Crossing info?

Hi All --

I recently checked out Pulte's new townhome community in Phoenixville called Longford Crossing. They seem great, but I wanted to see if I could get some input from anyone who currently lives there, thought about living there, or has had any experience with Pulte communities? As a first-time (potential) homebuyer I'm trying to do as much research as I can before jumping in.

You may want to wait and see how the prices perform on those. I don't think they've been selling so great since the housing market has slowed. The existing houses in the development seem to be taking a bit longer to sell. I'm sure they are offering some incentives.

From what I've read and experienced, Fall thru the New Year are when the builders drop their prices...I guess they know the slow period is coming and need to keep paying off their debt or something.

And I had a neighbor who subbed for Pulte, and he was an alcoholic as well...said he'd never buy a Pulte home. Coming from a guy who was homeless a lot of the time, that's saying something!

I think they all know that this Spring is going to be (or has been) very slow as well...in fact, many think that the Spring selling season is well over, and produced absolutley nothing for builders...summer is looking to do the same short of some sort of economic miracle.

Ha...I know a lot of people who say that about any public builder though. It all depends on the subs in the area too I would guess.
