Default Abington Township pool

Has anyone been to the Abington Township pool at Penbryn Park? I am thinking of joining but I would love to hear from folks who have been there. Is it clean? How crowded is it on summer weekends? Is there a kiddie pool? Other feedback or tips? Thanks!!!

Cool Pembryn pool

Yes we belonged there for many years. There is a baby pool and the whole place does get crowded. You can't beat it for the price though. My major problem is that there isn't much shade in the whole place. My kids loved it there but now we belong to Beachcomber Swimclub - It's in Blue Bell - It's a hike but the kids like it much better. There is much more to do there like ping pong etc.

Default Penbryn Pool is the greatest

I have myself been going there since I was 3mths Old. My Children have been going there since they were 9 mths old. It is a great pool with three different pools, (kiddie, middle pool, big pool) Kids under the age of 13 must be able to pass a test performed by the life guards to swim in the big pool alone. They offer lessons at reasonable prices for all ages and are very watchful and take their jobs very seriously as they know they will be held accountable. after forty + years of going there I wouldn't trust another pool. There is a small park for children, basketball courts, tennis courts, even day camp if you need it. Every 45 minutes it is ADULT swim where you can go in and relax, and from 5:45 - 7.00 It is adult swim with the kids aloud to go in the middle pool only. Please try it, I think you as I w/ twins have been going for years. Good luck & I hope you enjoy it as much as I have for over forty years.
