Hey guys,
Does anybody know exactly when the renovations will be completed for the Millbourne station? I see workers out there everytime I go by, but I would love to know when it will be complete and what the new station will look like. |

I think from their progress, the station should be open by June.
It's a very unique station and it's quite an oddity given how few blocks it is to the next station (69th Street). The station primarily serves only a small group of blocks in Upper Darby that's cut off from 60th Street Station, and it's not easy to find from Market Street. I think it's kinda cool how some of those backyards used to open out onto the station. There's a new retaining wall up... already been tagged. From what I understand there is a cluster of Indian families who live near this station.

And this is why you should donate to PACCA, not PETA: In September, PETA made headlines in Vermont and across the nation for asking Ben & Jerry's ice cream to use human breast milk in their ice cream, instead of cow milk |

Interestingly you forgot 63rd St station which is between 60th and Millbourne stations. |

That prairie used to be the parking lot for the Sears Department Store. It closed sometime in the late-80s when they moved to 69th Street, and then the lot became a park and ride lot. Personally, I think a lot of that space is high enough so that it's not in Cobbs Creek's flood plain, and would make a great infill location for retail or housing or both, and it'd help Millbourne out a lot with revenue. and yes, Millbourne is mostly Indian in that part of town. Further down there are a lot of Koreans too. |
