Default Can anyone recommend a house inspector?

Sorry, this must have been covered a million times, but we need our newly built (4 years ago) townhouse in QV inspected before purchasing. Anyone BTDT? Thanks!

I hired Howard Shanker at US Inspect. He was recommended by both a friend of mine and my realtor, and I was happy with the results. He walked me through the entire inspection and gave me a lot of useful info/tips along the way. Afterwards, he gave me a huge report (something like 20 pages) with detailed info and estimates on repair costs (so far, they've been pretty accurate).

We used Howie too, he's been recommended on here many many times.

Dan Pressman from Pressman Home INspectors 215-269-4900

He walked through EVERYTHING with me on a triplex, which took like 4 hours, explaining everything...very nice and very good. I am using him again in a couple of days.

We ended up with Mark from US Inspect, as Howard was unavailable. He was great - even my civil engineer dad was impressed. Spent about 2 1/2 hours with us on a house with virtually nothing wrong with it.
