Good luck. If you ever see Mayor Nutter in your travels tell him that huge swaths of Chestnut Street and Walnut Street are an absolute disgrace. In particular the YWCA building at 20th + Chestnut. Its an atrosity.

Default thank you for your interest

Thanks for your interest. I don't know Nutter, but much of the buildings on Chestnut and Walnut are likely to be renovated or replaced soon enough.

"Huge swaths"? Please. It sounds like you're posting from about 1985. East Chestnut still has room for improvement, but it's hardly "atrocious."

Thanks for your comment, kd. I'm not sure which blog is yours, so if you could point that out that would be great. And I hope you like my blog, if you do please tell your friends. Thanks.

I like the content, but I have to say, the harsh contrast in text and the red background is pretty hard on the eyes, especially in areas of a lot of text and few pictures to break it up.

Hi everyone. I have just added a new post to my blog about Philadelphia development. I have included some thoughts about the American Commerce Center, especially the need to demand an observation deck! I, also, have info about several new developments at Drexel and development in North & West Philly that might come as a surprise to some. You can access it at philadelphiathrives.blogspot.com. Hope you enjoy it!
