sweet looking bridge. submit it to penn, and if penn like it, well then...isn't it obvious that penn get what penn want?

That's a pretty cool looking bridge and I like the idea. The only big problem I see (besides money) is that the support for the bridge is located between the Schuylkill and the westbound off-ramp. I'm skeptical that there's physically room to fit the foundations in there, and even if there was room that'd be a nightmare to construct while keeping the Schuylkill open.

raider.adam: I have a feeling it would be the City and not PennDOT who would have to shoulder the cost for that bridge, since South Street is a City street.

My point for the design was to separate the ped/bike from the offramp traffic.

As both aren't going anywhere and likely to increase...seperating them by some "cool" means seemed the best option to appease both. (and those wanting a signature "bridge" for that location)
