Default As-Built Drawings & Surveys?

Greetings,

I have a large industrial building that I need a as built architectural drawings done of. Does anybody know of any good services/organizations to recommend?

I also have some previous (hand done) drawings and measurements of one part of it that would probably be good to get converted into CAD files, if anybody has any recommendations for that (or perhaps there are some students out there that might be able to do such a thing...?)

thanks

Aname,

Check out Bursich & Associates http://www.bursich.com/ or Carroll Engineering http://www.carrollengineering.com/

I have worked with both companies in the past, and have had great experiences.

Another company I would suggest would be American Building Calculations ( www.abcalc.biz ). They specialize in the creation of as-built drawings for architects, realtors, property owners, companies looking to move into a space, etc..

surveying is boring, detail-oriented, thankless, and almost always a pain-in-the-ass... sounds like an internship to me!

honestly, i'd contact local university architecture/design departments and see what you come up with. not only would you be getting the work for bargain pricing, but you'd also be helping to educate the next generation... which is almost always a wise business decision anyway you slice it.

off the top of my head...
