I just love working in an office where they don't track how much stuff we print for personal use! I put it in a nice little binder too..

NJ row houses is that they are more brownstone and often slightly taller.
They vary from city to city: Baltimore rowhouses tend to be narrow, 14 feet wide or less (there's one house in Baltimore that's only 9 feet wide!). Philly rowhouse lots are usually 16 feet, with 14 feet being the narrowest.

In NYC, rowhouses are usually build with a basement "garden" floor that sticks out of the ground 1/2 to 3/4 of its height, which is a rare feature in Philly.

Very cool, though, if I may nitpick, I don't think the image they chose for the cover depicts what I would call the typical Philly rowhouse. Those are a bit more ornate than the average.

Just wanted to thank whoever posted the link. I'm a huge fan of rowhome living and it's nice to see some thought put in to preserving Philadelphia's housing stock. That is all

This is a great link, thanks.

I would also be interested in hearing more "green" options for rowhome living, such as the viability of green roofing or replacing the backyard concrete pad with a greener alternative. If anyone knows of any such info, please post.

Thanks Zigster. I have been waiting for this publication ever since I posted about it over a year ago. Some good info...

Cat Astrophe - the external links on the wikipedia article have some good information on green roofs.
