I have a philly cop that lives on my block with the attitude that because he is a cop, he can do what ever he wants. Recently he's had weekend parties going until 2 in the morning "outside" Friends carrying on, being loud because of the drinking involved.

Last night (Wednesday) he and his friends were partying on his front stoop until almost 1:00am. I have no problems having people over and having a party, but have some consideration for you neighbors, especially during the week as some of us work during the day.

I was not sure if this violated any off duty ethics and calling the cops for a cop disturbing the peace would probably not fly.

I personally would love to go over to him and tell him shut the F up but this may make matters worse for me personally given his position.

I am going to submit an anonymous letter to his house however, I was looking for a bit more backup to really get my point across.

Any insight is appreciated.
