Rentals are a fact of life, and landlords have restrictions on who they may reject. The mere fact that you live in your own home, rather than rent it to another (or be a tenant in a home owned by another) does not make you and your "Quality of Life Committee" any better than anyone else, regardless of whether you put on the mantle of authority of the Tacony Civic Association.

Did I read in another post that you own a tavern? As a group, taverns represent the biggest headaches for neighboring residents. I wonder what stories the abutting neighbors would tell about YOUR business? Drunks urinating on neighbors' lawns? Fighting on the sidewalk at 2 in the morning? Parking spaces always taken by your customers, rather than the local residents? Noisy deliveries of alcoholic beverages at various times of day? Neon signs shining in bedroom windows of abutting residences all night? I wonder . . .
