My faves come down to Van Morrison and Solomon Burke bill but that was in NYC, any show by the ultimate party band J.Geils but my fave local show was seeing the late great Rory Gallagher at the now gone Stars nightclub in CC for both the 8 and 11pm shows and hanging out with him and the band afterwards in their hotel until around 7am.
Hey GPO65, When I first saw Kiss at the Spectrum, the opening act was a guy nobody heard of, by the name of Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band. He came out on stage, scared to death, but put on a great show. We used to follow a local group in the late 70's and early 80's by the name of Witness. They played the local clubs here in Philly and down in Wildwood. Man, where has the time gone.
