Not sure I'm going to add much value to the thread but my car was broken into a few weeks ago ... parked at the corner of Corinthian & Fairmount. It was a cheap Hyundai - had a really cheap looking, after market CD player in it.

Unfortunately it wasn't a professional who broke in since whoever it was totaled the car. It's such a shame since it's a nice neighborhood. Parking on Fairmount Ave seems to be a little better... or maybe I'm naiive.
