Morrisons Pharmacy on Ridge Avenue
I'm so glad someone mentioned Morrisons Pharmacy on
Ridge Avenue. They are truly a professional group of
people. The pharmacist actually knows what he's
going and the prices are more than fair. They also
have a real scale in the store for the customers
and an easy to use Xerox machine.
Now, concerning that fellow down at the RiteAid.
I'm speaking about the "Shift Supervisor". I go
to RiteAid for many things but, don't use the
pharmacy. The man you're writing about has always
had the same personality and that is NO personality.
One of the cashiers told me that he was transfered
from a North Philadelphia RiteAid. I suggest that
he RETURN to a North Philadelphia RiteAid where
nobody would even notice that he was surly or
never smiled or directed people with his hands.
Down there if you come in and don't rob the place
they're happy. Also, they have more experienced
professional shoplifters in that part of town.
At the Roxborough RideAid If I can't find something
I always ask for Assistant Manager Jan. He DOES
have a good personality and knows where everything
is.
And lastly....to the person who wrote they went to
the RiteAid after visiting Roxborough Memorial Hospital I ask this......what are you c-r-a-z-y ?
Save yourself lots of time and save your health.
Go to Chestnut Hill Hospital....it's a different
world. They are professional people and, while not
perfect, they are a lot better than RMH who are
now "for profit". There is only one emergency room
doctor "on-duty" there during the evening hours
at Roxborough Memorial Hospital. Many of the nurses
at Roxborough Memorial are good but, you have to
wait soooo long. At Chestnut Hill Hospital you are
seen faster and the place is much cleaner.....the
vending machines even work and for the most part
you can understand what the doctor is saying.
