No, I'm not saying that police are prosecuted at a higher rate than young black males. I was comparing two specific cases - the police beating case and the gang rape that occurred in my neighborhood. Because the rape case was completeley ignored while the police beating case became international news, it's one more example of how the media and the public in general feel that the alleged crime against the thugs in the police beating was far more serious or more important than the gang rape of a white woman

Thats interesting since I keep reading about a black man who killed a man and repeatedly raped a woman before getting caught in NY. Do I guess right that you feel it's worst for a white woman to get raped than a black woman? Your throwing race in a conversation that isn't called for. It doesn't matter the race of the "alleged victims" or the race of the officers involved. What matters is the excessive brutality of their crime and now their new story.
I will admit that the media seems to be biased with their reporting. They do seem quick to show when a black person is abused by authority figures or if some black persons civil rights are abused. But lets not act like they don't also paint black men as homicidal rapist and black women as ghetto queens. So excuse me if I don't feel more sympathy for the woman in your neighborhood who was gang raped. If you really feel that raw about it you should get everyone in your neighborhood to bombard Fox news with the story.
