I went to this school in 1971-1973. It was a real zoo back then. But then again the whole neighborhood was a zoo in those days. I saw a guy get murdered as I was leaving school one day. He came out of the old BLACK SCORPIO LOUNGE another guy came out behind him an shot him in the back. The man managed to make it around the corner of Monroe St and died calling for his mother.
