If this is true, let's find out where they will be 'shopping' and we can all band together and show up to welcome them properly. I'm sure we would be able to get through to them loud and clear that we will be their worst nightmares should they choose to buy property in our neighborhood, rent it to low-life tenants, and not maintain it properly. Several years ago, when the house next door to me was up for sale, I made every effort to be out front when prospects came looking. I made sure to let them know what their prospective neighbors expected of absentee owners. They all moved on to other properties and I ended up with a neighbor who is an owner who lives in the property. This is what you have to resort to when you choose to stay in your home instead of being run out of town.
