The Nicoise salad at coquette is the best salad in the area. They rarely seem to have the tuna prepared so I call ahead to see if they have it.

The Bahn Mi vegetarian sandwiches at Cafe Nhy y on Christian are cheap and addictive. When they reopened recently I heard a lady out front say she ate 3 that day, I don't blame her. I am glad they are back.

Finally, for the guitarists, Settlement Music school, not blue bond, is the mecca. Settlement offers lessons, the classical guitar society schedules performances there frequently on Sundays and they have their annual guitar festival there which is a huge event. The best classical guitarists in the world have performed or have given master classes there. Most people in the area don't pay attention to what's going on at settlement which is a shame as it's a great resource for all types of musicians or listeners.
