you can take all the issue you like. this music
does "appeal to popular or lowbrow taste" per the defintion. regarding the second half of the definition ("is
often of poor quality") we could debate the quality or we can reasonably determine that the definition doesn't dictate that it
must be of poor quality.
further, I walk around south philadelphia and hear sinatra, martin, and the godfather theme blaring from various windows quite a bit more than is warranted and i find it silly, cliched, stereotypical, repetitive, and slightly embarrassing.
