Here's the hard part
Even though I'd LOOOOOOVE to frequent all of those places mentioned, they all close before I even leave the office. I can only find them open on a saturday if I'm lucky enough to remember. Those places all thrived back in the day when dad went to work, and mom walked up to Frankford ave to do the famlie's shopping.
Things have changed ....
If they want to survive, and I VERY MUCH want to see them do so because they are an AWESOME business to have in the neighborhood, they HAVE to increase their hours so that people can take advantage of their services.
You can have the best damn danish in the world, but if you're only open from 1-2, you've seriously limited the amout of people who will ever tast them.
As an example ...
I've often wondered why the heck that Coffee shop on Frankford near Tudor doesn't stay open late like the one down by Harbison? The one on Harbison looks like they're doing GREAT !!
