Do yourself a favor and register your car in PA, then you will be able to get a parking permit rather easily. It still may take a few trips, but at least people won't think you are d*ckhead for taking up spots day after day with out of state plates when it is clear that you live here. You will assimilate more easily with your neighbors.

People love to bitch about parking, and the finger is always pointed at cars with out of state plates who take up spots every single night.

Yes, people from outside the city do come in to eat, bar hop, etc, but I can describe at least a half dozen cars on my street that have been parking here for years with out of state plates 7 nights a week.
