Use packages. openSuSE already has a few wiki packages around.
If you want MediaWiki, the big package that Wikipedia uses, you can do a 1-click install on openSuSE to put it on your machine.

The environment will be apache, mysql if needed and preferably php for the language (but anything that will work in Unix without significant hacks will be ok). Security access to editing and viewing is important.
