14 years ago, when I moved from Boston [where I was paying $800 for 2000s.f. loft in Fort Point], I found a 2000 s.f. sublet in Fishtown for $350, I later found out the subleter was only paying $160 !
There are cheaper places but they are easier to find in September, you could always move to a place in center city and sublet the Webb place. oh and welcome to philly, the best move I ever made!
