a shoe store
a shoe repair store
a clothing boutique with reasonable prices
a card or stationery store with upscale goods
a car wash
a mexican restaurant
a vegetarian restaurant
a Foodery-type place, but with better prices
a better CVS
a nice nail salon, complete with masseuse
