Haverford Twp in general has great housing stock and good transit connections. I think it would be a great place to raise a family. Also, I don't know why people insist on only being in certain places, but I would think it would be very uncomfortable being the low man on the totem pole in a place like LM. The pressure to keep up with the Jones' when you clearly don't have the means to would be very stressful. Did anyone read the blurb in PhillyMag about all the parents in LM who have 2nd jobs to pay for Mercedes and horseback riding lessons? I mean, seriously, what are you teaching your kids? Haverford Twp gives you close proximity to the conveniences of LM, with a more diverse citizenry, for a fraction of the price. And the schools are good to boot, too. Further, in the "real" world even at high levels of accomplishment (executive, lawyer, doctor, etc), I have to believe that having grown up in a more socio-economically diverse area will only make one a stronger and more capable leader.
