Assuming you're putting them out on the right day, which you probably already checked given where this thread started, and that (like mine) your neighbors don't generally recycle so you can't be sure that way, I've watched a man (who I presume to be homeless) come pick through my recycling for cans, leaving the glass behind. I figured, hey, if he can get a meal out of recycling them for money, fine by me.

So if it went all day (and it was definitely a recycling week), and the glass was still there, then it sounds like you got missed (and could call the Streets commission if it keeps happening), but I'd hazard a guess someone less official picked up the cans.
