All I was doing was establishing facts, and linking to a more respected source to do so. Facts cannot be dismissed solely based on who has repeated them, as long as they are verifiable, as I think an official city map would serve to do.
I did not mean to argue with anyone, though I know that is what I should have expected on a message board.

Because a map from 1854 says something, why is it taken as gospel? I can show you maps from today with incorrect data on them. Should it be presumed that the mapmakers of 1854 did a better job of verifying their maps than the people of today?
