I know quite a few people in center city that don't have a car, and use public transportation all the time, and when they take long trips, they rent cars.
And what surprises me more is the number of people I have met who live in Center City who shop at Wegman's of Cherry Hill for groceries, since Center City is lacking in grocery department. So I would think it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that many people frequent Cherry Hill Mall for shopping that isn't available in Center City.

No it is not, but I don't think the businesses in Jersey are counting on the center city folks to sustain them. I think they are icing on the cake.
